I-85 Traffic Mitigation Project
Representatives of the SCDOT, Spartanburg County, City of Greer, Greenville County, and Upstate Forever have been meeting to discuss various alternatives to divert some traffic off of I-85 on to US 29 traveling from Spartanburg to Greenville. The Planning staff is working with the other stakeholders to identify ways to make US 29, Wade Hampton Boulevard, more transit supported in the future.
