The Greenville County Planning Staff would like to thank everyone from the Berea Community for their incredible involvement in submitting a great many applications for involvement in one of the upcoming Task Forces. Staff is currently processing each of the applications and are excited about pulling together residents, business owners, and other passionate parties who are committed to serving their community in a proactive way. There will be a kick off meeting to officially begin the planning process for the Berea Community Plan.  The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Northwest Campus of Greenville Technical College (Heritage Hall) beginning at 6:00 pm. We would like to encourage anyone with interest in the plan to attend. Please share this event with neighbors and friends and we will look forward to meeting with you all.

Over 200 citizens attended the Berea Community Meeting organized by Greenville County Council member, Willis Meadows, who represents the Berea Area. This meeting was held at the Greenville Technical College’s Northwest Campus located off White  Horse Road on Thursday, June 18^th at 6:00 pm.  The meeting agenda included an Update from Senior Action regarding the possibility of locating a Senior Action facility in the Berea Community.

Meeting attendees also were given an update of the work being done and the status of contractual procedures for the former Berea Elementary School property.
