The purpose of the Devenger Pointe Special Tax District is to provide, within its boundaries, security and property protection in the form of streetlights, maintain and promote improvements for the entrance/exit, and rights-of-way, control litter and other health hazards along the public rights-of-way.

The Commission is the governing body of this special tax district and consists of five (5) members appointed by County Council. All members of the Commission shall reside within the geographical boundaries of the special tax district. 

The board meets on an as needed basis.
