Greenville County Building Safety and Code Enforcement has transitioned to a new automated software system. All permits must be submitted through eTrakit. Approved permits will be processed and emailed within three business days. At this time, we have a five day processing period for permits to be issued. All of the inspectors assure compliance with the International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, Fire, and Energy Conservation Codes; the National Electrical Code; and other construction-related federal, state, and local laws. The inspectors can be reached by phone daily, 8:00-8:30 am. Inspections are performed daily 8:30 - 3:30 pm.
