Qualified Registered Voter
To remain a qualified registered voter, the law requires you to notify your local voter registration office of any change in your name or address. This must be done before the registration books
close for the next election. You can submit your notice of change of name or address either by mail or by fax (864-467-7256). In either case, the notice must include your signature to be valid.
Notice cannot be made by telephone or by e-mail.
Confidential
If you supply your Social Security Number, it will remain CONFIDENTIAL and will not be disclosed to anyone other than voter registration officials. This number will not be published on
any voter registration list.
Next Election
To qualify to vote in the next election, you must apply to register to vote 30 days before the election.
