The EMS STAR Program is a program that seeks to build relationships through education between Greenville County EMS and high school students of Greenville County School District who show an interest in the public service careers within emergency medical services.

GCEMS wishes to educate these high school students on the various job opportunities within emergency medical services. This education is used to serve as an encouragement to graduate from high school with the knowledge of how to apply to schools that offer the programs in which these students are interested, what the programs will entail, and ultimately the aspects of the jobs for which they will then be eligible to hold.

Currently, Carolina High School is the pilot school for this program, however, soon, the program will be expanding to other high schools in the Greenville County district.
