What is your greatest achievement in life so far?
My children. My favorite title is “Mama.” They are my strength and motivation everyday of my life. I wouldn’t know what to do without them!!
What is your #1 pet peeve?
Being interrupted while talking.
What is your most memorable moment in your EMS career?
There are definitely a lot but one that comes to mind is assisting a patient deliver a
baby that was in cardiac arrest, hearing that baby girl cry when ROSC was achieved and then receiving the news that she was discharged from the hospital without any long term complications.
What is your favorite movie or play?
Wicked.
What would constitute a perfect EMS crew member?
No one is perfect but, a good EMS crew member would be compassionate, humble and strive to keep learning.
What is your best kept secret?
If I tell you my best kept secret it won’t be a secret anymore ;)
What would you consider your worst habit?
PROCRASTINATION (I think Thompson would agree, lol).
Who is your greatest inspiration in your life?
My greatest inspiration is my dad. Although he can drive me crazy sometime he is my biggest fan and my rock.
What is your favorite food item?
Macaroni and cheese.
What would be considered luxury to you?
A day being pampered at a spa.
If you could meet anyone in the history of the world, who and why?
Diana, Princess of Wales. I admire her activism, glamour, patronages to multiple charities/campaigns and achievements throughout her life.
What would your epitaph say?
Love as much as possible in this imperfect world.
What is your favorite type of music?
Country.
Where would you like to grow old?
I would love to finish out my life somewhere tropical. “I got my toes in the water, A** in the sand. Not a worry in the world”
