Every month we will be selecting a team member for our Employee Spotlight.
This month we’re introducing Micheal O’Driscoll. Micheal is a Support Service Technician and has been working for Greenville County EMS for nine months.
What is your favorite quote, saying, or motto?

What is your greatest achievement in life so far?
Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
What is your #1 pet peeve?
When people don’t follow through on the things that they say they are going to do. Either that or when my name gets misspelled. Guess that what happens when your parents curse you with the Irish spelling of Micheal.
What is your most memorable moment in your EMS career?
I haven’t been here long, but I know my current project will be my most memorable. Working to update Operative IQ so we can use its tools to the fullest is and will continue to be a very challenging but rewarding process.
What is your favorite movie or play?
My favorite movie is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
What would constitute a perfect EMS crew member?
The perfect crew members are self-motivated and have a willingness to work without needing much guidance.
What is your best kept secret?
I don’t really keep secrets (unless I’ve bought you a gift). Ask me anything. I’m an open book.
What would you consider your worst habit?
100% Procrastination.
Greatest inspiration in your life?
My father is my biggest inspiration. He has worked hard to achieve everything he has and he never stops learning.
What is your favorite food item?
I absolutely love too many foods. My favorite would have to be hot dogs.
What would be considered luxury to you?
Fancy cars are a luxury. That doesn’t stop me from wanting one, but I definitely won’t be getting one any time soon.
If you could meet anyone in the history of the world, who and why?
There’s entirely too many options for this question. That said I’d probably want to meet Shigeru Miyamoto. He created Mario which is one of my favorite video game series.
What would your epitaph say?
Loving husband, father, and friend. Also, if you hated all of my Dad jokes just wait until you hear my dead jokes!
What is your favorite type of music?
I’ll listen to just about anything. I always gravitate back to Owl City, Lindsey Stirling, and Pentatonix.
Where would you like to grow old?
I wouldn’t mind growing old right where I’m at. I love the Greenville area, but as long as I’ve got my family and friends around me I’d be happy to grow old anywhere.
